PICKLEBALL RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY OCTOBER 26, 2026
One of the biggest projects ever at HP, was transforming and rebuilding the 5 tennis courts into 10 Pickleball Courts. Why? Because interest in tennis is dwindling big time, while interest in Pickleball is growing rapidly. We just have a small handful of tennis players remaining in our community, but there is a huge number of Pickleball players, and that number is growing.
With just 6 pickleball courts, they were always packed with players, while others had to wait their turn to play. Meanwhile, the 8 remaining tennis regulars used only ONE court for tennis. Therefore, moving Pickleball to where the original tennis courts was one of the best decisions the HPA BOD ever made for our community.
The company that redesigned and rebuilt the 5 tennis courts into 10 Pickleball Courts did an excellent job. Our HP residents are thoroughly enjoying playing on the new courts.
